Alice Sadler Obituary (1906 - 2005)

Miss Alice Sadler, 98, of Madisonville, KY, died Thursday, January 13, 2005, at 1:00 A.M., at the Senior Citizens Nursing Home in Madisonville. \ Born March 25, 1906, in Earlington, KY, she was the daughter of the late George Thomas Sadler and Mary Caroline Brewer Sadler. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four sisters and one brother. \ Miss Sadler was a member of the First Christian Church in Earlington, and had drove a school bus for Hopkins County School System for 25 years and never had an accident. \ She is survived by four sisters, Mary Elizabeth Davis and Dorothy Josey, both of Madisonville, Kathleen Baker of Elizabethtown, KY, and Virginia Wagner of Lincoln Park, MI, and several nieces and nephews. \ Funeral services will be Sunday, January 16, 2005, at 2:00 P.M., at the Barnett-Strother Funeral Home with Pastor Brian Morse officiating. Burial will follow in Odd Fellows Cemetery. \ Visitation will be Saturday, January 15, 2005, from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M., and from 1:00 P.M. until the funeral time on Sunday at the Barnett-Strother Funeral Home. \ Memorials may take the form of contributions to the Earlington First Christian Church. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home. \
