Ardyth Ziese Cobb-Christman Obituary (1922 - 2010)

Mrs. Ardyth Ziese Cobb-Christman, 87, of Madisonville, KY passed away at 9:10 A.M., Tuesday, March 9 2010, at Ridgewood Terrace Nursing Home in Madisonville. \ She was born June 28, 1922 in Decatur, IL to the late Fred W. Ziese and Ruby Pauline Ziese. She was also preceded in death by her husband, George Christman; one brother, John Ziese; one grandchild, Julie Lynn Latham and one great grandchild, Mason Ingram. \ Mrs. Cobb-Christman worked as a legal secretary and enjoyed genealogy. She was also an avid Star Trek fan. \ She is survived by five daughters, Cranston Schreiner of Madisonville; Frances (Greg) Black of Evansville, IN; Randa (John) Heltsley of Nebo; Jana (J.D.) Hill of Plant City, FL and Ann (Steve) Ahlf of Harrisburg, PA; one son, David (Sherry) Cobb of Tennessee; twelve grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren. \ Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, March 13, 2010 at Barnett-Strother Funeral Home with Rev. Gary Bennett officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. \ Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. on Saturday at the funeral home. \ Memorial contributions may be made to Breast Cancer Foundation. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home. \
