Barnett E. \Barney\"" Eison Obituary (1907 - 2008)

Mr. Barnett E. Barney Eison, 100, of Madisonville, KY died Wednesday, February 6, 2008 at 4:20 A.M. at Regional Medical Center in Madisonville. \ Born November 15, 1907 in Mortons Gap, KY, he was the son of the late Otto Eison and Berna Barnett Eison. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by wife, Iva Kathleen Eison on April 26, 2005 and a grandson, Anthony Crayne Eison. \ He was a retired coal miner for Island Creek Coal Company at Fies #9 mine. He was a member of the Madisonville First Baptist Church where he was a member of the Baracca Sunday School Class. \ He is survived by one son, Walter E.Monk Eison of Madisonville; two grandchildren, Lori Howard and Barnett Clay Eison and five great-grandchildren. \ Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, Feb. 9, 2008 at the Barnett-Strother Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. \ Friends may call from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Friday and after 11:00 A.M. Saturday at the funeral home. \
