Bette Blythe Eastwood Obituary (1927 - 2009)

\ \ Mrs. Bette Blythe Eastwood, 82, of Madisonville, KY passed away at 6:55 P.M., Wednesday, October 7, 2009 at Regional Medical Center in Madisonville, KY. \ She was born September 1, 1927 in Hopkinsville, KY to the late C.R. Wilkins and Tillie Nichols Wilkins. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Eastwood; one daughter, Jarrett Eastwood and one sister, Marjorie Leigh Radebaugh. \ Mrs. Eastwood was a member of Christ the King Church in Madisonville. \ She was a retired nurse where her passion was geriatrics. \ She is survived by two daughters, Marty (Barry) Vaughn of Hanson and Rhonda (Joe) Beard of Henderson; one brother, Bill (Linda) Wilkins of North Palm Beach, FL; five grandchildren; ten great grandchildren and five great great grandchildren. \ Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, October 10, 2009 at Christ the King Catholic Church with Father Bremer officiating. Burial will follow in Slaughters Cemetery in Slaughters, KY. \ Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. on Friday at Barnett-Strother Funeral Home. \ Pallbearers will be Jon Nance, Matt Vaughn, Shane Dunbar, Travis Dunlap, Kyle Gunthier, Leon Stephens and Gary Bozeman. \ Memorial Contributions may take the form of donation to Christ the King or any charity of your choice. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home. \
