Bettie Noel Ruddell Obituary (1937 - 2016)

Bettie Noel Ruddell, 79, of Madisonville, KY passed away Sunday, March 27, 2016 at Ridgewood Terrace Nursing Home in Madisonville. Mrs. Ruddell was born February 11, 1937 in Trigg County, KY, to the late Terry Thomas Noel and Jewell Hall Noel. She was also preceded in death by her husband, William Amos Ruddell and one brother. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Madisonville, a member of the Elks Ladies Auxiliary, the Madisonville-Hopkins County Chamber of Commerce, the Hopkins County Education Association, KEA, the National Retired Teachers, and the National Education Association. She is survived by one son, Allen Ruddell of Madisonville; two grandchildren, A.J. Ruddell and Cullen Noel Ruddell and a niece, Sue Duncan. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, March 29, 2016 at Barnett-Strother Funeral Home with Rev. Ken Hundley officiating. Burial will follow in Odd Fellows Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M. Tuesday at Barnett-Strother Funeral Home.
