Bettye Lander Riddle Obituary (1927 - 2024)

Bettye L. Riddle of Madisonville, KY passed away peacefully Saturday February 3, 2024 at her residence in the care of her family. Mrs. Riddle was born February 7, 1927 in White Plains, KY to the late Hugh Lander and Blanche Pearson Lander and was preceded in death by her siblings, Frances Kumpf of Versailles, IN, and Joe Lander of Madisonville. Bettye was married to, J. Craig Riddle, Jr., for nearly 65 until his death July 10, 2015. Mrs. Riddle is survived by their daughter, Suzanne Wilson and son-in-law Larry G. Wilson of Madisonville and their son J. Craig "Chip" Riddle V and daughter-in-law Martha Riddle of Grand Rivers; two granddaughters, Amy Wilson-Moghina of Venice, FL and Penelope Wilson Metcalfe and her husband Mark Metcalfe of Madisonville; two great grandchildren, Alexa and Austin Moghina of Venice, FL, Memorial services will be held at The First Presbyterian Church at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, February 7, 2024, with the Pastor Jen Evans officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to the Hopkins County Public Library in Mrs. Riddle's honor or the First Presbyterian Church, the envelopes will be available at the church.
