Bobby Crume Obituary (1980 - 2013)

\ Bobby Crume, 33, of Hanson, KY, passed away Friday, November 22, 2013 at the Baptist Health West in Paducah, KY. \ \ He was born March 17, 1980 in Owensboro, KY. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Robert Crume, Albert Joseph Cook and Margaret Louise Cook. \ \ Mr. Crume was an electrical supervisor for William E. Groves Construction where he's worked for 15 years. He was a member of Suthards Baptist Church where he worked with the youth group and was a Sunday School superintendent. He loved working on his Jeep, UK Athletics, attending auctions and was a grill master. Bobby was a true man of God, loving husband and father. \ \ He is survived by his wife of 13 years, Amanda Crume of Hanson; two daughters, Elizabeth and Emily Crume of Hanson; his mother, Pinkie Ann Crume of Horse Branch, KY; his father, Gerald Wayne (Rosalin Ann Tamon) Crume of Sacramento, KY; four sisters, Dana (Larry) Payne of Princeton, KY, Tonya (Ray) Geary of Fordsville, KY, Lynn Crume and Tiffany Crume both of Horse Branch; three brothers, Danny Crume of Yeaman, KY, Jason (Crystal) Crume of Horse Branch, and Chris (Jeanetta) Crume of Centertown, KY; his grandmother, Viola Crume of Huntsville, KY and several nieces and nephews. \ \ Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Tuesday November 26, 2013 at Barnett-Strother Funeral Home with Bro. George Brooks officiating. Burial will follow in Suthards Cemetery in Earlington, KY. \ \ Visitation will be from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM Monday and after 11:00 A.M. until the service time at the funeral home. \ \ Pallbearers will Danny Crume, Jason Crume, Chris Crume, Larry Payne, Ray Geary, Troy Patterson, Richard Vasquaz, Kirby Hoodenpyle, Paul Harvey Jr. and Craig Howard. \ \ Memorial contributions may be made to the Elizabeth and Emily Crume scholarship fund in care of Independence Bank. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home. \ \
