Bonnell Capps Crabtree Obituary (1922 - 2013)

\ Bonnell Capps Crabtree, 91, of Madisonville, KY passed away on Wednesday, December 11, 2013 at Ridgewood Terrace Nursing Home in Madisonville. \ She was born August 29, 1922 to the late J.E. Capps and Laura Pearl Thomas Capps. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Calvin Crabtree in 2011. \ She worked as a teacher in Hopkins County. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Madisonville and their Upper Room Sunday school class. \ She is survived by three sons, Douglas (Delores) Crabtree of Madisonville, Tommy (Darlene) Crabtree of Hanson, KY and John (Trisha) Crabtree of Madisonville; one sister, Rebecca Capps (Max) Clayton of Madisonville; four grandchildren, Marc Crabtree, Eric Crabtree, Kristin Hall, and Seth Crabtree; and two great grandchildren, Matthew and Emma Crabtree. \ Funeral service will be 2:00 P.M. Saturday, December 14, 2013 at Barnett-Strother Funeral Home with Dr. Don Davis and Rev. Dale Carden officiating. Burial will follow in Odd Fellows Cemetery. \ Visitation will be from 4:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. Friday and from noon until service time at the funeral home on Saturday. \ Memorial contributions may be made to the First United Methodist Church, Madisonville, or KY United Methodist Home for Children care of First Methodist Church.
