C B Utley Obituary (1932

Cloyd Benson (C.B.) Utley, 91, a lifelong resident of Hopkins County, Kentucky passed away on Sunday, January 14, 2024 in Owensboro, KY after a brief stay at the HPC - Heartford House. C.B. was born May 22, 1932, in Beulah. He was the son of Cloyd Benson Utley Sr and Egrestean Winstead Utley. C.B. was preceded in death by his wife of 68 years, Lynn McClearn Utley, and an infant son. He is survived by his daughter Lisa Miller; two granddaughters, Kara Dillingham (Jacob) a resident of White Plains, KY; Leah Miller a resident of Louisville, KY; and four great-grandchildren Kasen, Karlie, and Kali Dillingham and Genevieve Truckey. He attended Western Kentucky University and was a Korean War Veteran. C.B. owned Happy's Office Supply in downtown Madisonville for 30 years. He was a faithful member of the First United Methodist Church. C.B. was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend. A private celebration of life will be held at First United Methodist Church with burial at Odd Fellows Cemetery in Madisonville, KY.
