Carlos \Corky\"" Winstead Obituary (1949 - 2004)

Mr. Carlos Corky Winstead, 54, of Madisonville, KY, died Tuesday, May 4, 2004, at 7:00 P.M., at his residence of an apparent heart attack. \ Born October 2, 1949, in Hopkins County, KY, he was the son of the late Curtis Winstead and Vera Beatrice Durham Winstead. \ He was a salesman for Metropolitan Life Insurance Company and for Olan Mills. \ He is survived by three daughters, Suezzette Mann of Warner Robins, GA, Carly Wester and Holly Winstead, both of Madisonville; one sister, Patty Winstead of Beulah, KY; six grandchildren; and one niece and one nephew. \ Funeral services will be Friday, May 7, 2004, at 11:00 A.M., at the Barnett-Strother Funeral Home with Bishop Tim Dukes and Jimmie C. Bourland officiating. Burial will follow in the Odd Fellows Cemetery in Madisonville. \ Visitation will be Thursday, May 7, 2004, from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M., and on Friday from 9:00 A.M. until the funeral time at the Barnett-Strother Funeral Home. \ Pallbearers will be Blake Winstead, Brad McCord, Michael Wester, and Jimmie Green. \ Online condolences may be made to the family at www.barnettstrother.com \ \
