Catherine Marie Frederick Obituary (1916 - 2008)

Mrs. Catherine Marie Frederick, 92, of Hanson, KY, died Thursday, April 24, 2008 at 8:15 A.M. at her residence. \ She was born February 12, 1916 in Hopkins County, KY, to the late Thomas Joseph Bowles and Addie Rickard Bowles. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Frederick; a sister, Flossie Siria and three brothers, Luther, Erbie and Lannie Bowles. \ She was a telephone operator for Bell South for 30 years and was a member of Bellsouth Telephone Pioneers. She was a member of Salem Primitive Baptist Church in Madisonville, KY. \ She is survived by her brother and sister-in-law, James E. & Frances Bowles of Madisonville and several nieces and nephews. \ Funeral services will be Saturday, April 26, 2008 at 11:00 A.M. at Barnett-Strother Funeral Home with Elder Jeff Winfrey officiating. Burial will follow in Olive Branch Cemetery in Hanson. \ Visitation will be Friday from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. and from 9:00 A.M. until the service time at the funeral home on Saturday. \
