Cathy Day Johnson Obituary (1963 - 2018)

Mrs. Cathy Day Johnson, 55, of Madisonville, KY passed away Sunday, December 9, 2018 at Her residence in Madisonville. She was born May 18, 1963 in Lexington, KY to Tommy Day and Lena Martin Day of Madisonville. She was preceded in death by a brother, William Eugene Bennett. Mrs. Johnson was a member of Pritchett's Chapel. She was a Medical Receptionist, a Notary, a member of the Citizens Academy for the State, City and County Police, The Show & Go Car Club, was a past Lions Club member and enjoyed Nascar. She is survived by her parents; her husband, James R. Johnson; a sister, Linda Sue Blanchard of Madisonville and a niece, Michele (Jason) Roy of Earlington, KY. Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, December 12, 2018 at Barnett-Strother Funeral Home with Pastor Steve Terry officiating. Burial will follow in Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Madisonville. Visitation will be from 4:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. Tuesday and after 1:00 P.M. until the service time Wednesday at Barnett-Strother Funeral Home.
