Cozie Higdon Young Obituary (1924 - 2007)

Mrs. Cozie Higdon Young of Madisonville, KY, died at 11:29 P.M. Thursday, February 22, 2007, at Regional Medical Center in Madisonville. \ She was the daughter of the late Henry Higdon and Birdie Higdon. \ She was a member of St. Marys Episcopal Church. \ She is survived by her husband, Herschel O. Young of Madisonville; one daughter, Sandy Young Henderson of Atlanta, GA; one son, Barry Young of Madisonville; one sister, Mary Sales of Louisville, KY; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. \ Funeral services will be at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday at St. Marys Episcopal Church with The Reverend James E. Trimble officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. \ Friends may call from 12:00 noon until the service time Tuesday at the church parish hall. \ The family requests that donations be made to the Cozie Young Memorial Library Fund at the Hopkins County-Madisonville Public Library, 31 S. Main St., Madisonville, KY 42431.
