Cuba Frances Offutt Obituary (1924 - 2005)

Mrs. Cuba Embry Offutt, 80, of Madisonville, KY died at 9:10 P.M. Wednesday, April 13, 2005 at the Regional Medical Center. \ Born December 14, 1924 in Caneyville, KY she was the daughter of the late Pirtle Embry and Bennie Ree Wallace Embry. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Everett Benjamin Offutt on January 17, 1993, one sister, Lauradean Stroud and one brother, Latney A. Embry. \ She was a homemaker and a member of the Madisonville AARP Chapter 3391. She attended the Madisonville Christian Assembly. \ She is survived by three daughters, Barbara Huddleston Hubbard of Kuttawa, KY, Donna E. Harris and Debra Marks, both of Madisonville; two sons, James E. Offutt and Gary Bush Offutt, both of Madisonville; two sisters, Patricia Sissy Embry of Madisonville and Kathleen Dortch of St. Louis, MO; four brothers, Edward B. Embry of Cathedral City, CA, Wallace L. Embry of Fountain Valley, Ca, Roy E. Embry of El Segondo, CA and Kenneth R. Embry of Madisonville; eleven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. \ Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, April 17, 2005 at the Barnett-Strother Funeral Home with Pastor Carl Nelson and Pastor Roy Ellis. \ Burial will follow in the Odd Fellows Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Craig Offutt, Allan Offutt, Aaron Offutt, Nathan Offutt, William Marks and Hugh Wayne Offutt. \ Friends may call from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. on Saturday and on Sunday from 9:00 A.M. until the service at the funeral home. \ \
