David Glenn Daniel, 42, passed away of natural causes Thursday, June 18, 2015, at his home in Madisonville. He was born October 26, 1972 in Hopkins County, Kentucky to Jimmie Gale Daniel Sr. and Barbara Sue Daniel. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Arvel Ray Daniel, Merle Howard Daniel, and Lorene Buck Smith. David was employed by the City of Madisonville. He had served as a local and national Red Cross volunteer. He greatly loved his nieces and nephew, and had a heart for animals and the Hopkins County Humane Society. He is survived by his parents, Jimmie and Barbara Daniel of Hanson; a grandfather, Willard Smith, of Owensboro; two brothers, Jimmie (Anne Ambrose) Daniel Jr. of Nashville and Stephen (Kathy) Daniel of Slaughters; one sister, Patricia (Tim) Wiles of Madisonville; nieces Ami (David) Wiles Loder of Roy, Utah, Jessica (Jarrod) Wiles Wilde of Idaho Falls, Idaho, Diedre Daniel and Daphne Daniel of Bowling Green, Laura (Michael) Miser of Slaughters, and Andrea (Michael) Benson of Nebo; one nephew, Timothy Aaron (Virginia) Wiles of Denver, Colorado; and ten great-nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, June 20, 2015 at Barnett-Strother Funeral Home with Tim Wiles officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. until the service time Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in David's name to the Hopkins County Humane Society.
