Mr. Dayalji Dahya Patel, 85, of Madisonville, KY, died at 3:05 P.M. Monday, December 29, 2003, at NHC Healthcare Center in Madisonville. \ Born March 13, 1918 in Bhuvasan, India. He was the son of the late Dahya Gokul Patel and Nandiben D. Patel. \ He is survived locally by his wife, Dahiben Dayalji Patel and one son, Jay Patel. \ Services will be 9:00 A.M. Wednesday, December 31, 2003 at Barnett-Strother Funeral Home. Cremation will follow at Owensboro Memorial Gardens Crematory, 5050 KY Hwy 144, Owensboro, KY at 1:00 P.M. Wednesday. \ Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. Tuesday at the funeral home. \ \ Directions to crematory from Madisonville. \ 1. Take Pennyrile Parkway north to the Slaughters/Dixon exit #54 and turn right at end of ramp on Hwy 138. \ 2. Follow Hwy 138 until it 'T's' into Hwy 81 at Rumsey. Turn left. \ 3. Follow Hwy 81 over the bridge into Calhoun and stay on Hwy 81 to Owensboro. \ 4. Hwy 81 runs into Hwy 56, go right towards Owensboro. \ 5. Get onto Wendell Ford Parkway going east around the city. \ 6. Stay on Parkway until it 'T's' into Hwy 60 East and go right. \ 7. Stay on Hwy 60 East until you see Hwy 144 'Y' to the right. \ 8.
