Dee Mae Weir Obituary (1946 - 2004)

Mrs. Dee Mae Pence Weir, 57, of Nebo, KY, died Sunday, August 29, 2004, at 4:45 P.M., at her home. \ Born September 23, 1946, in Washington, D.C., she was the daughter of the late Garland Webb Pence and Katsie Elizabeth Maloney. \ She was a member of the Concord General Baptist Church in Manitou, and was a full-time mother and housewife. \ She is survived by her husband of 39 years, Ray Weir of Nebo; one daughter, Kelly Crowley of Slaughters, KY; two sons, David Weir of Madisonville and Mark Weir of Nebo; one sister, Sallie Wolff of Elizabethtown, KY; and five grandchildren. \ Funeral services will be Wednesday, September 1, 2004, at 2:00 P.M., at the Concord General Baptist Church with Bro. Eddie Fleming officiating. Burial will follow in Concord Cemetery. \ Visitation will be Tuesday, August 31, 2004, from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M., and from 9:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday at the Barnett-Strother Funeral Home. Visitation from noon until the service time at the church on Wednesday. \ Memorials may take the form of contributions to Green River Hospice or Gideons International. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home. \
