Don F. Miller Obituary (1929 - 2007)

Mr. Don F. Miller, 78, of Slaughters, KY died at 12:50 A.M. Wednesday, September 19, 2007, at Maple Manor Health Care in Greenville, KY. \ Born April 8, 1929 in Borger, TX. He was the son of Jess Miller and Mattie Willbanks Miller. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Wanda Jean Blantchett Miller, on Oct. 23, 2006 and two brothers, Melvin Miller and Gene Miller. \ Mr. Miller had been a natural gasline operator with A & R Pipeline Co. He bred and raised Tennessee Walking horses, he was a US Navy Veteran and was a member of Pritchetts Chapel. \ Surviving are three daughters, Marla Cowden of Corpus Christi, TX, Donna Woolsey and Linda Beaver, both of Providence, KY; one son, Mark Miller of Slaughters; two sisters, Maureen Nailon of Ft. Worth, TX and Jo Goetz of Bartelsville, OK; seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren. \ Funeral services will be 9:00 A.M. Friday, September 21, 2007, at Barnett-Strother Funeral Home with Rev. Richard Sorrells officiating. \ Visitation will be from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Thursday and after 8:00 A.M. Friday. \ Memorials may take the form of donations to St. Anthonys Hospice. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home. \
