\ \ Mrs. Dorthy Janet Keen, 70, of Madisonville, KY died at 5:25 P.M. Tuesday, Sept. 18, 2007 at the Ridgewood Terrace. \ Born June 8, 1937 in Hopkins County, KY she was the daughter of the late Justin S. Melton and Hallie Evelyn Jennings Melton. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Robert Carl Keen in 1997. \ She was a homemaker . \ She is survived by two daughters; Anne Harrell of Madisonville and Sue Corcoran of Eva, AL; two sons, Scott Brown of Eddyville, KY and Bill Brown of Providence, KY; ten grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. \ Funeral services will be private. \ There will be no visitation. \ Memorials may take the form of donations to the Green River Hospice. \ Online condolences may me made to the family at www.barnettstrother.com. \
