Dr. Jon Raymond Love II Obituary (1930 - 2023)

Dr. Jon Raymond Love, II, 93 of Madisonville, KY passed away, Friday, November 24, 2023 at Baptist Health Deaconess Hospital in Madisonville. He was born July 8, 1930 in Sharon, PA to the late Jon Raymond Love and Elizabeth Agnes Miller Love. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Nancy Lou Wenaas Love. Dr. Love was a member of the St. Mary's Episcopal Church in Madisonville. He was a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons and a US Air Force veteran. He is survived by their four children, Jon R. (Cherie) Love, III of Madisonville; Gretchen (Parviz) Arian of Nevada; James L. (Sue) Love of Madisonville and their children, Matt (Brie Logsdon) Love and Kate Love; and Nancy (Leif) Ratliff of Madisonville and their son, Joe Ratliff. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 PM Friday December 1, 2023 at St. Mary's Episcopal Church. Visitation will be from 1:00 P.M. until the service time at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary's Episcopal Church.
