Earlene Clayton Ferguson Obituary (1927 - 2007)

Mrs. Earlene Clayton Ferguson, 80, of Madisonville, KY, died at 1:07 P.M. Wednesday, October 10, 2007, at Regional Medical Center in Madisonville. \ Born September 12, 1927 in Hopkins Co., KY to Ruby Dallas Clayton and Verdie Cunningham Clayton. She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, Gertrude Clayton and Ann Harris and one brother, J. W. Villines. \ She was a member of Salem Primitive Baptist Church in Madisonville. She had been a waitress at Big Springs Inn for several years and was sales manager at Second Edition Apparel. \ Surviving are one daughter and son-in-law, Beverly & Jerry Roberts and one son and daughter-in-law, Randy & Rose Ferguson, all of Mortons Gap, KY; three sisters, Beatrice Stroud of Evansville, IN, Jo Nell Stanley and Betty Grisham, both of Madisonville; three brothers, J. D. Clayton of Lakeland, FL, Troy Clayton and Kenneth Clayton, both of Madisonville; four grandchildren and one great grandchild. \ Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Saturday, October 13, 2007, at Barnett-Strother Funeral Home with Elder Kenneth Blevins officiating. Burial will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery. \ Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Friday and noon until the service time on Saturday at the funeral home. \ Memorials may take the form of donations to the Salem Primitive Baptist Church or the charity of your choice. \
