Ethel Mae Vickery Obituary (1934 - 2024)

Ethel Mae Vickery, 90, of Madisonville, KY passed away Wednesday, May 22, 2024, at Ridgewood Terrance in Madisonville. She was born January 3, 1934 in Madisonville to the late Richard Blackstone and Callie Mae Jackson Blackstone. She was also preceded in death by her first husband, Hatten Crockett; second husband, Carl Vickery; and one daughter, Sheila Crockett. Ethel attended Earlington Assembly of God. She loved to cook and go to church. She is survived by her daughters, Judy Tapp of Madisonville and Lorine Barnett of Clear Water, FL; son, Tommy (Barbara) Crockett of Madisonville; along with eight grandchildren; and eleven great grandchildren. Funeral service will be 11:00 A.M., Saturday May 25th, 2024 at Barnett-Strother Funeral Home Madisonville Chapel. Burial will follow at Odd Fellows Cemetery in Madisonville. Visitation will be 9:00 A.M. until the service time at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday at the funeral home.
