Frank Ellis Phaup, Jr. Obituary (1929 - 2011)

Mr. Frank Ellis Phaup, Jr. 81, of Madisonville, passed away Monday, January 3, 2011, at Regional Medical Center in Madisonville. \ He was born November 3, 1929 in Hopkins Co., KY to the late Frank Ellis Phaup, Sr. and Mary Fosco Phaup. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Grace Hale and a grandson, Guy Phaup. \ Mr. Phaup was a retired routeman for U.C. Milk Co. where he served as union president for 36 years. \ He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Carmae Renshaw Phaup of Madisonville, one daughter, Marilyn (Rick) Sherman of Sikeston, MO; two sons, Frankie (Selena) Phaup of Madisonville and David (Angela) Phaup of Newburg, IN;one sister, Helen Hickline of Madisonville; five grandchildren, Kyle Phaup, Alex Phaup, Marc Sherman, Jason Sherman and Sarah Stratton and three great grandchildren, Alyssa, Nate and Austin Sherman. \ The funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, January 5, 2011 at Barnett-Strother Funeral Home with Bro. Ronnie Hendricks officiating. Burial will follow in Grapevine Cemetery. \ Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. on Tuesday and 10:00 A.M. until service time on Wednesday at the funeral home. \ Pallbearers will be Alex Phaup, Kyle Phaup, Marc Sherman, Derek Stratton, Andy Crick and Matt Crick. Honorary pallbearers will be J.C. Harris and Howard Parrish. \ The family would also like to send a special thanks to all his caregivers and special visitors. \ \
