Grace Marie Sisk Obituary (1922 - 2011)

Grace Marie Sisk, 88, of Madisonville, KY passed away on Tuesday, February 22, 2011, at her residence. \ She was born October 24, 1922, in Hopkins Co., KY to the late Edward Lee Fraelich and Etola Poole Harris. She was also preceded in death by two sons, Bob Mitchell and Marvin Edward Mitchell; one daughter, Shirley Day and one grandson, Jeremy Clayton. \ Mrs. Sisk was a homemaker and member of Parkview United Methodist Church as well as a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Unit #6. \ She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Lonnie Sisk of Madisonville; one daughter, Carolyn (Jerry) Clayton of Madisonville; one son, Ricky (Teresa) Sisk of Madisonville; grandsons, Joey Clayton, Brian Mitchell, Steve Mitchell, Lance Mitchell and Matt Burns; granddaughters, Melanie Tribble, Kim Day, Darlene Lacy, Terri Pownell, Sherry McCoulgh and Tracey Martin; seventeen great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren. \ Funeral service will be 1:00 P.M., Saturday, February 26, 2011, at Barnett-Strother Funeral Home with Bro. Shane Browning officiating. Burial will follow in Concord Cemetery in Manitou, KY. \ Visitation will be 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. on Friday and 10:00 A.M. until service time on Saturday at the funeral home. \ Pallbearers will be Gary Herndon, Steve Hallman, Dan Clayton, David Griffey, Jeff Griffey and Jeremy Brown. \ Memorial contributions may take the form of donation to the Parkview United Methodist Church or Green River Hospice. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home. \
