Gracie Mae Alexander Obituary (1964 - 2021)

Gracie Mae Alexander, 57, of Providence, KY passed away Monday July 19, 2021 at her residence. She was born May 20, 1964, to the late Alfred Springfield and Lottie Short Springfield. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Michael Springfield and Alfred Springfield. Gracie made her living as a homemaker. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and cooking for her family. She is survived by her husband of 37 years, David Paul Alexander of Providence; four daughters, Teri Frailey of Dixon, Jessica Clark of Clay, Jennifer (Roger) Bouquenoy of South Haven, MI, and Whitney (Bradley) Latham of Marion, KY; two sons, David Brian Alexander of Providence and Jimmy (Betty) Alexander of Marion; one sister, Kathy Springfield of Madisonville; two brother, David (Sabrina) Springfield of Morganfield, KY and Jonathan "Peewee" (Lucy) Springfield of Evansville, IN; eleven grandchildren, three step-grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Friday July 23, 2021 at Barnett-Strother Funeral Home - Providence Chapel. Burial will follow in Oakley Home Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12:00 P.M. until service time Friday at the funeral home.
