Hilda Gaye \MaMa\" " Faulk Obituary (1931 - 2015)

\ Hilda Gaye 'MaMa' Faulk, 84, of Morton's Gap, KY passed away, Wednesday, May 6, 2015 at Ridgewood Terrace Nursing Home in Madisonville. \ \ Mrs. Faulk was born April 12, 1931 in Hopkins County, KY to the late Thomas Eugene Lovan Sr. and Dolly Ann Uzzle Lovan. She was also preceded in death by her husband, William J. Faulk; one sister, Frieda Parker; and one brother, Tom Lovan, Jr. \ \ Mrs. Faulk was a homemaker. She was a member at Life Christian Center where she taught the children in kids kingdom. She also taught Sunday School. She was an avid Cubs fan and a Kentucky Colonel. She loved watching her grandkids and their friends play sports. \ \ She is survived by her two daughters, Karen Gaye (Kenneth) Oates of Mortons Gap and Marilyn (Charles) Loveday of Mortons Gap; four grandchildren, Ginger Johnson, Kandi Williams, Wade Williams, and Joe Crofton II; six great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild. \ \ Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, May 9, 2015 at Life Christian Center with Dr. H.O. Wilson officiating. Burial will follow in Salem Cemetery. \ \ Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. Saturday until the service at the church. \ \ Pallbearers will be Wade Williams, Joe Crofton II, Steve Johnson, Brock Hopper, Trevor Williams, and Will Crofton. \ \
