Hilda J. Farris Obituary (1935 - 2006)

Mrs. Hilda J. Farris, 71, of Madisonville, KY died at 7:06 A.M. Wednesday, August 16, 2006 at Regional Medical Center in Madisonville. \ Born May 7, 1935 in Mortons Gap, KY she was the daughter of the late Clint Otney Almon and Mattie Mae Lovan Almon. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Charles W. Farris on Dec. 17, 1993 and one brother, Charles E. Almon. \ She was a homemaker and a member of Park Ave. Baptist Church. \ She is survived by one daughter, Kim Ezell of Madisonville; one son, Dennis Farris of Madisonville; three sisters, Bessie M. Alexander of Crofton, KY, Madolyn Stringer of Earlington, KY and Vanita Cullen of Port Orange, FL; two brothers, Bobby W. Almon of Indianapolis, IN and Jerry W. Almon of Madisonville, four grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. \ Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, August 19, 2006 at the Barnett-Strother Funeral Home with Pastor Doug Anderson officiating. Burial will follow in the Odd Fellows Cemetery. \ Friends may call from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. on Friday and on Saturday from 8:30 A.M. until the services. \ \
