Ilene Daugherty Obituary (1924 - 2003)

Mrs. Ilene Daugherty, 79, of Anton, KY died at 4:00 A.M. Thursday, September 18, 2003 at her home. \ Born August 18, 1924 in Hopkins County, KY she was the daughter of the late Willoughby Litt Rickard and Roberta Davis Rickard. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Daugherty on March 8, 2000; one son, Danny Daugherty in October 1950; two brothers and three sisters. \ Mrs. Daugherty was a homemaker. \ She is survived by two daughters; Mrs. Jo Nell Crawford of Anton, KY and Mrs. Ann Miller of Madisonville; one son, William Dempsey of Owensboro; one sister, Carolyn Fireline of Anton; three brothers, Garland Rickard of Anton, Louis Rickard of Madisonville and Wayne Rickard of Nortonville, KY; three grandsons and five great-grandchildren. \ Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, September 20, 2003 at the Barnett-Strother Funeral Home with Rev. Ronnie Hendricks officiating. Burial will follow in the Bethlehem Cemetery in Anton. \ Friends may call on Saturday from 10:00 A.M. until the service at the funeral home. \ Memorials may take form of donations to the Wendell Foster Center, 815 Triplett St., Owensboro, KY, 42303. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
