Miss Janis Lindle Welch, 57, of Madisonville, KY passed away at 4:40 A.M., Saturday, October 3, 2009 at Brighton Cornerstone Healthcare in Madisonville. \ She was born May 25, 1952 in Madisonville, KY to the late Robert Young and Boyce Laverne Lindle Welch. \ Miss Welch was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Madisonville. Miss Welch worked as a drill operator for Trace Industries in Madisonville. \ She is survived by two sisters, Ariadne Welch of Jeffersontown, KY and Carolyn (Dr. Randel) Gibson of Mayfield, KY; one niece, Carol Len (Graeme) Nixon of Dillsburg, PA; one nephew, Jay (Anne) Hale of Winston Salem, NC; her aunt, Peaches Welch of Fort Belvoir, VA and her friend Janice Wix of Mortons Gap, KY. \ Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, October 6, 2009 at the First Presbyterian Church with Pastors Lon Lorton and Rob Wilson officiating. Burial will follow in Pythian Ridge Cemetery in Sturgis, KY. \ Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. Tuesday until the service time at the church. \ Memorial gifts may take the form of donations to the First Presbyterian Church or Trace Industries in Madisonville. \ \ \
