Jessie Norene Fox Obituary (1944 - 2014)

\ Jessie Norene Fox, 69, of Nebo, KY passed away Friday, August 8, 2014 at her residence. \ \ She was born September 8, 1944 to the late Jessie Jones and Lillian McMullen Jones. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Clifford Jones, and William 'Bud' Ipock; and four sisters, Thelma Terry, Dorothy 'Sissie' Udhe, Barbara Jones and Mary Jones Wyatt. \ \ Mrs. Fox retired from G.E. with 21 years of service. She was of the Baptist faith. She enjoyed shopping, spoiling her grandchildren, and loved to decorate. She also loved spending time with her family and friends. \ \ She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Bobby Fox of Nebo; one daughter, Tammie Fox of Nebo; two sons, Donavon Fox of Nebo and Michael Scisney of Owensboro, KY; three sisters, Wanda Jones (Wayne) Kingery of Madisonville, Brenda (Bill) Jones Crabtree of Slaughters, KY, and Virginia 'Jinna' (Richard) Jones Sorrells of Providence, KY; two brothers, Larry (Robbie) Jones of Madisonville and Wayne Eugene (Joyce) Jones of Providence; grandchildren, Shane Fox, Sara Fox, Chris Campbell, and Makayla (Kaylee) Campbell; and one great grandchild, Finley Grace Fox. \ \ Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, August 12, 2014 at Barnett-Strother Funeral Home with Bro. Bill Crabtree and Bro. Richard Sorrells officiating. Burial will follow in Odd Fellows Cemetery. \ \ Visitation will be from 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. Monday and after 9:00 A.M. Tuesday at the funeral home. \ \ Pallbearers will be Derek Sorrells, Thad Jones, Ross Jones, Terry Crabtree, Shane Fox, and Michael Campbell. Honorary pallbearers will be Mike Crabtree, Jarrod Thompson, and her husband, Bobby Fox. \ \ Memorial contributions may be made to the Hospice of Western Kentucky. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home. \ \
