Lainey Marie Horning Obituary (2010 - 2019)

Lainey Marie Horning, 8, of Dalton, KY passed away Sunday, April 21, 2019 at St. Christopher Hospital for Children in Philadelphia, PA. She was born October 17, 2010 in Evansville, IN to Thomas C. Horning and Julie Bryant Horning. She loved dancing in her wheelchair, UK Basketball, riding in her daddy's boat, and her family. She is survived by her parents, Thomas and Julie Horning, of Dalton; her brother, Gabriel Horning; her grandparents, Bobby and Connie Horning of Princeton, KY and Wayne and Judy Bryant of Echols, KY.; aunts and uncles, Joe (Codie) Horning of Princeton, Jennifer (Jerry) Lear of Graham, KY, Melissa (Rickie) Wilson of Brownsville, KY, and Jon (Cassie) Bryant of Beaver Dam, KY; and cousins, Levi Lear, Kensi Bryant, Lizzie Horning, Sara Latham, Jeri Beth Cobb, Amber Webster, Gabby Wilson, and Jackson Bryant. Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Saturday, April 27, 2019 at Barnett-Strother Funeral Home with Bro. Kevin McGehee and Bro. Jim Lantrip officiating. Burial will follow at Beech Grove Cemetery in Caldwell County. Visitation will be from 4:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. Friday and from 9:00 A.M. until service time Saturday at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be aunts and uncles. Memorial contributions may be made to the Easter Seals Rehabilitation Center at 3701 Bellemeade Avenue, Evansville, IN 47714 or the Rizpah Shriners. Envelopes will be made available at the funeral home.
