Larry Wayne \Pathfinder\"" Steele Sr. Obituary (1947 - 2007)

Mr. Larry Wayne Pathfinder Steele Sr., 59, of Madisonville, KY died at 8:45 P.M. Friday, April 13, 2007, at the Veterans Hospital in Marion, IL. \ Born June 18, 1947 in Barron Wisconsin, he was the son of the late Hurbert D. Steel Jr. and Elaine Marjorie Anderson Steele. \ Mr. Steele was a Marine Corp Veteran having served from 1967 until 1971. He served in the Vietnam War. He was of the Baptist faith and loved talking with his friends on the CB radio. \ Surviving are his wife of 38 years, Charlotte S. Steele; three sons, Michael A. Steele of Schererville, IN, Larry W. Steele Jr. of Madisonville and Brian J. Steele of Hopkinsville, KY; two sisters, Sharon Watkins and Joan York both of Portage, IN; one brother, Daniel J. Steele of Lake Station, IN; one half brother, Herbert III of Smith Station, AL and nine grandchildren. \ Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, April 17, 2007, at Barnett-Strother Funeral Home with Pastor Van Williams and Pastor Lawrence Richardson officiating. Burial will follow in the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West in Hopkinsville, KY. \ Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Monday and after 9:00 A.M. Tuesday at the funeral home. \ Memorial gifts may take the form of donations to the Grace Baptist Church School. \
