Leland \Bud\"" Pavy Obituary (1923 - 2004)

Mr. Leland Bud Pavy, 81 of Madisonville, KY died at 12:54 P.M. Saturday, July 24, 2004 at his residence. \ Born January 2, 1923 in Fayette County, IN he was the son of the late Frank Pavy and Mabel Marie Mitchell Pavy. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Mabel Gwendolyn Pavy in 2004; one sister, Eleanor Spicer and one granddaughter, Pinky Pavy. \ Mr. Pavy worked for over 30 years in the coal mines in Eastern and Western Kentucky. He was an avid coin collector, loved to travel, liked horses, and liked to play golf and billiards. \ He is survived by three daughters; Katrina Easterling of Madisonville; Mary L. Blanton and Sheralynne Marie Plummer, both of Connersville, IN; one son, Tony Joe Pavy of Madisonville; one sister, Joanne Oney of Mooresville, IN; 10 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. \ Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Monday at the Barnett-Strother Funeral Home with Mr. George Thompson officiating. Burial will follow in the Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens in Madisonville. \ Friends may call from 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. on Sunday and on Monday from 10 A.M. until the service time. \ Memorial donations may be made to Green River Hospice. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home. \
