Lula Frances Nesmith Obituary (1933 - 2004)

Mrs. Lula Frances Nesmith, 70, of Madisonville, KY died at 1:10 A.M. Tuesday, March 2, 2004, at Regional Medical Center in Madisonville. \ Born December 2, 1933 in Muhlenburg County, KY to the late Cecil Latham and Eunice Crittend Latham. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son Joe Hawes. \ She was a member of Fellowship Temple Church. \ She is survived by her husband of 34 years, Clyde W. Nesmith Sr; two daughters, Nyoka Hawes of Nortonville, KY and Cindy Barber of Earlington, KY; one son Clyde W. Nesmith, Jr. of Madisonville; two stepdaughters, Lisa Nesmith of Clarksville, TN and Jackie Nesmith of Louisville, KY; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. \ Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Thursday, March 4,2004 at the Barnett-Strother Funeral Home with Pastor Troy Oakley officiating. Burial will follow at the Oakley Home Cemetery in Manitou, KY. \ Pallbearers will be Clyde Nesmith Jr., Eddie Barber, Frank Barber, Steve Nesmith, Dewayne Nesmith and Monty Nesmith. \ Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Wednesday and after 10:00 A.M. Thursday. \ Memorials may take the form of donations to Gideons International. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home. \ \ \
