Margaret Mae Vaughn Obituary (1919 - 2005)

Mrs. Margaret Mae Vaughn, 86, of Madisonville, KY, died Tuesday, August 9, 2005, at 6:10 A.M., at NHC Healthcare in Madisonville. \ Born January 2, 1919, in Hopkins County, KY, she was the daughter of the late Lloyd Wyatt and Bertha Summers Wyatt. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Burt Vaughn on January 27, 1991, and by one brother. \ She was a homemaker and of the Christian faith. \ Mrs. Vaughn is survived by two daughters, Loretta Conley of Madisonville and Diana Green of Nortonville, KY; one son, Ronnie Vaughn of Hanson, KY; six grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and her dear friend and caregiver, Kay Tapp. \ Funeral services will be Thursday, August 11, 2005 at 11:00 A.M. at the Barnett-Strother Funeral Home with Rev. Roy Conley officiating assisted by Rev. Tim Vaughn. Burial will follow in Pleasant Grove Cemetery. \ Visitation will be Wednesday, August 10, 2005, from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M., and from 8:00 A.M. until the service time on Thursday at the funeral home. \ Memorials may take the form of donations to Gideons International.
