Marjorie M. Coffman Obituary (2016)

Marjorie Coffman, 83, of Corydon, died Friday, August 26, 2016, at Lincoln Hills Health Care Center in New Albany, Indiana. She was born December 27, 1932, in Madisonville, Kentucky, to Ray and Grace Scholtz Morgan. She was a graduate of Murray State University and was a retired nurse and teacher's aid. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Edward Coffman Survivors include two daughters, Glenda Mills and Debbie Smith both of New Albany, Indiana; one step-son, Tom Coffman of Jeffersonville, Indiana; one step-daughter, Rebecca (Richard) Reid of Jacksonville, Florida; one Sister, Anita Wann of Paoli, Indiana; her grandchildren, Mitch and Susan Coffman, Nikki, Kelly and Autumn Smith, Cassandra, Thess and Ian Mills and 12 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be 7:00 p.m. Monday, August 29, 2016, at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home, with visitation beginning after 1:00 p.m. on Monday. Visitation will continue from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday at Barnett-Strother Funeral Home in Madisonville, Kentucky. Burial will follow at Grapevine Cemetery in Madisonville. Pallbearers will be Thess Mills, Ian Mills and Malcolm Coffman. The family requests that expression of sympathy be made to the American Cancer Society or the Alzheimer's Association.
