Marshall Fletcher Ashby, Jr. Obituary (1944 - 2023)

Marshall Fletcher Ashby Jr., 79, of Madisonville, KY, passed away, Thursday, November 2, 2023 at his residence. Mr. Ashby was born April 27, 1944 in Providence, KY to the late Marshall Fletcher Ashby Sr. and Gertha Marie Ashby. Marshall worked as an engineer. Some of his hobbies included fishing, golfing, and computers. He loved cars and driving in the country. Most of all, he loved his family. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Mary Adams Ashby; son, Bradley Kenneth (Jessica) Ashby; and brother, Phillip Ashby. Funeral services will be at 11:00 A.M . Wednesday, 8, 2023 at Barnett-Strother Funeral Home with Pastor Loletuth Kalz officiating. Burial will follow in Odd Fellows Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. Tuesday and from 9:00 A.M. until service time Wednesday at the funeral home.
