Mobie Jean Hartline Obituary (1924 - 2009)

\ \ Mrs. Mobie Jean Hartline, 84, of Madisonville, Kentucky passed away at 2:10 P.M., Thursday, April 16, 2009 at Regional Medical Center in Madisonville. \ She was born October 12, 1924 in Barnsley, KY to the late Charlie Perkins and Elizabeth Hand Perkins. She is also preceded in death by her husband, James Edward Hartline (1993) and four brothers, Virgil Perkins, Shelby Perkins, Gene Perkins, and Mack Perkins. \ Along with being a homemaker she worked for Big B Cleaners for 16 years. \ She was a resident of Oak Ridge Retirement Center and a member of Earlington Assembly of God Church. \ She is survived by one daughter, Teresa (Butch) Pulley of Nortonville; two sons, Curtis (Brenda) Hartline of Lakeland, FL; and Doug (Linda) Hartline of Dawson Springs; one brother, Charlie Perkins, Jr. of Barnsley; eight grandchildren, Ginger Peeples, Kristi Huddleston, Jamie Thorp, Cathey Lane, Brian Hartline, Matt Pulley, Megan Pulley, and Mitchell Pulley; ten great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild. \ Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, April 19, 2009 at the Barnett-Strother Funeral Home with Pastor Nathan Bruce and Bro. Garry Hill officiating. Burial will follow in Grapevine Cemetery in Madisonville. \ Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. on Saturday and noon until service time on Sunday at the funeral Home. \ Memorial contributions may take the form of donation to the Mahr Cancer Center. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home. \
