Phil \Butch\"" Pike Obituary (1943 - 2015)

\ Phil 'Butch' Pike, 71, of Dawson Springs, KY passed away, January 13, 2015 at Hillside Center in Madisonville. \ \ Mr. Pike was born May 28, 1943 in Wyandotte, MI to the late George Pike and Myra Davis Pike. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Trudy Dean Pike. \ \ Mr. Pike loved to carve, hunt, cook, and enjoyed gardening and painting pictures. He was a wonderful husband, father and brother. He disliked going to visitations and funerals so having the services this way was his final gift to his family and friend. \ \ He is survived by his wife of 31 years. Jackie Pike of Dawson Springs; two daughters, Heather (Mike) Roney of Kouts, IN and Jackie Lynn (Adam) Merchant of Alvin, TX; one step son, Tom Kraus of Pompano Beach, FL; one sister, Marcia Jean (Terry) Turner of Alvin, TX; five grandchildren and one great grandchild. \ \ A private memorial service will be held for the immediate family. \ \
