Raymond Ray Ferrell Obituary (1929 - 2007)

Mr. Raymond Ray Ferrell, 78, of Hanson, KY died at 12:30 A.M. Friday, December 28, 2007 at his home. \ Born October 14, 1929 in Hopkins County, KY he was the son of the late Fred Sherman and Deloris Mitchell Ferrell. He was also preceded in death by a stepson, Ernie Davis. \ He was a U.S. Army Veteran, was formerly employed at York and was the owner and operator of Ferrell Furniture in Hanson. \ He is survived by his wife, Billie Egbert Davis Ferrell of Hanson; one daughter, Karen Ferrell of Madisonville; three sons, Raymond Lee Ferrell of Hanson, Bruce Ferrell and Michael W. Ferrell both of Madisonville; three stepsons, Terry Davis of Hanson, Ricky Davis and Joey Davis both of Madisonville; one sister Betty Tapp of Barnsley, KY; two brothers, J.R. Ferrell and Roy Ferrell both of Madisonville; five grandchildren, eight step grandchildren, two great-grandchild and four step great-grandchildren. \ Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Sunday, December 30, 2007 at the Barnett-Strother Funeral Home with Bro. Terry Davis officiating. Burial will follow in the Grapevine Cemetery in Madisonville. \ Pallbearers will be Chris Davis, Zack Davis, E.J. Davis, Gary Paul Gates, Ricky Davis and Joey Davis. \ Friends may call from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Saturday and after noon on Sunday at the funeral home. \
