Raymond William \Bill\"" Wedeking Obituary (1938 - 2015)

\ Raymond William 'Bill' Wedeking, 76, of Madisonville, KY, passed away Saturday January 3, 2015 at Baptist Health. \ \ Mr. Wedeking was born February 15, 1938 in Metropolis, IL to the late William A. Wedeking and Hazel Rogers Wedeking. \ \ Mr. Wedeking retired from the grocery business and was a member of First Assembly of God. \ \ He is survived by his wife Sharon Mason Wedeking; four sons, Howard G. (Libby) Atkinson of Paducah, KY; Lin (Suzanne) Atkinson of Atlanta, GA; William David (Jackie) Wedeking of Ocoee, FL and Bill J. Atkinson of Paducah; three daughters, Teresa Atkinson Cross of Knoxville, TN; Susan Diane Wedeking (Bryan) Ridge of Flora, IL and Kim (Larry) Schaefer of Madisonville, KY; eight grandchildren; and several great grandchildren. \ \ Funeral service will be 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, January 7, 2015 at Barnett-Strother Funeral Home with Pastor Chris Manning and Howard Atkinson officiating. Burial will follow in Odd Fellows Cemetery in Madisonville, KY. \ \ Visitation will be from 4:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. Tuesday and after 12:00 P.M. Wednesday until the service time at the funeral home. \ \ Pallbearers will be Trevor Ridge, Ian Ridge, Bryan Ridge, Jamie Carreno, Larry Schaefer, and Jim Kington. \ \
