Robbie Gennell Dunlap Obituary (1926 - 2005)

Mrs. Robbie Gennell Dunlap, 78, of Madisonville, KY died at 4:05 P.M. Monday, March 28, 2005 at her residence. \ Born August 29, 1926 in Hopkins County, KY she was the daughter of the late Lebus J. Ewing and Bonnie Mae Mitchell Ewing. She was also preceded in death by three brothers, Joel Ewing, Kenneth Ewing and Wally Jones. \ She retired after 20 years of service at the Pantry and was employed at A & P and Kroger stores. She attended Messengers of Life Church. \ She is survived by one daughter; Pat Wells of Madisonville, KY; one son, William Thomas Dunlap of Madisonville; one brother, Billy Ewing of Providence; one half sister; two half brothers; six grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren and 20 nieces and nephews. \ Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M.,Thursday, March 31, 2005 at the Barnett-Strother Funeral Home with Dr. Jim Childs officiating. Burial will follow in the Grapevine Cemetery. \ Friends may call from on Wednesday from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. and on Thursday after 10:00 A.M. at the funeral home. \ Pallbearers will be Brad Locke, Kris Dunlap, Jeff Polly, Danny Ewing, Donald Ewing, Kevin Crook, and Billy Dunlap. Doyle Dunlap will be an honorary pallbearer. \
