Roy C. Robinson Obituary (1923 - 2006)

Mr. Roy C. Robinson, of Madisonville, KY died 10:30 A.M., Thursday, January 26, 2006 at his home. \ Born April 25, 1923 in Mortons Gap, KY he was the son of the late Charles Carlsted Robinson and Rollie Elizabeth Laffoon Robinson. He was also preceded in death by one son, Larry Wayne Robinson and one stepson, Ronald Martin. \ He worked for the U.S. Postal Services for 42 years and was a member of the First Church of God. He was a WW II Marine Corp veteran and played the trumpet in the Marine Corp Band and the Branson Band. \ He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Eva Rames Robinson of Madisonville; one daughter, Kim Breeding of Madison, IN; one son, Charles Robinson; two stepsons, Kenneth Martin and Mike Martin, both of Evansville, IN; 8 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. \ Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Monday, January 30, 2006 at the Barnett-Strother Funeral Home with Rev. Robert White officiating. Burial will follow in the Odd Fellows Cemetery. \ Friends may call from 3:00 P.M. until 6:00 P.M. Sunday and on Monday after 9:00 A.M. until the service at the funeral home. \ Memorial gifts may take the form of donations to the First Church of God. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home. \ \
