Ruby Elizabeth \Liz\"" Glaysbrook Obituary (1924 - 2009)

Mrs. Ruby Elizabeth 'Liz' Glaysbrook, 85, of Earlington, Kentucky passed away at 1:02 P.M., Friday, May 8, 2009 at Regional Medical Center. \ She was born January 12, 1924 in Hopkins County, KY to the late John Thompson and Cora Miller Thompson. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Charles Glaysbrook in 2005; four brothers, Tom Thompson, Joe Thompson, Lee Thompson and William Thompson and two sisters, Vernie Mason and Lula Plunkett. \ Mrs. Glaysbrook was a member of Life Christian Center in Madisonville. She was also a waitress for many years. \ She is survived by her daughter Judy Melton of Madisonville, KY; two sons, Roger Glaysbrook and Gary Glaysbrook both of Madisonville; one brother, Alfred Thompson of Earlington; four grandchildren and four great grandchildren. \ Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, May 12, 2009 at the Barnett-Strother Funeral Home with Rev. David Jackson and Dr. H.O. Pat Wilson officiating. Burial will follow in Grapevine Cemetery. \ Visitation will be from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. on Monday and 9:00 A.M. until service time on Tuesday at the funeral Home. \
