Thomas O. \Tom\"" Pharris Obituary (1951 - 2006)

Mr. Thomas O. Tom Pharris, 54, of Henderson, KY, formerly of Madisonville, KY, died Monday, March 27, 2006, at 8:00 P.M., at St. Marys Medical Center in Evansville, IN. \ Born November 29, 1951, in Hopkins County, KY, he was the son of the late Major Omer Pharris. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a sister, Jean Toon, on March 3, 2005. \ He was a carpenter and a member of Local 90 Carpenter Hall Union. He was a U.S. Army veteran. \ Mr. Pharris is survived by his wife, Denetta Denton Pharris of Henderson; his mother, Helen Pharris of Madisonville;a daughter, Janelle Pharris of Chattanooga, TN; a son, Micah Pharris; a step-son, Jared Denton of Henderson, KY; three sisters, Katherine Versnick of Madisonville, Linda Fuqua of Hampton, GA, and Lista Foster of Madisonville; two brothers, David Pharris of Birmingham, AL, and Mark Pharris of Madisonville. \ Funeral services will be Thursday, March 30, 2006, at 11:00 A.M., at the Barnett-Strother Funeral Home with Pastor Michael Knight officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. \ Visitation will be Wednesday, March 29, 2006, from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M., and from 9:00 A.M. until the funeral time on Thursday at the funeral home. \
