Uldine Troop Miller Obituary (1932 - 2018)

Uldine Miller, 85 of Madisonville, KY passed away Wednesday, January 3, 2018 at Baptist Health. She was born December 22, 1932 in Hopkins Co., KY to the late Hop Holeman Troop and Willie Mae Sullivan Troop. She was also preceded in death by her husband, William Aubrey Miller, Sr.; three brothers, Butch Troop, James Troop and Bill Troop; and four sisters, Hilda Bartlett, Ann Wallace, Murel Troop, and Rosemary Garrett. Uldine was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Dawson Springs, KY. She was a loving grandmother and great grandmother. She enjoyed flower gardening. She is survived by one daughter, Sherida (A.P.) Burgess of Stony Point, KY; two sons, William Aubrey (Tanya) Miller, Jr. of Calvert City, KY and Robert Michael (Vivian) Miller, Sr. of Central City, KY; grandchildren, Stacy (Brad) Mitchell, Jennifer (Pat) Galvan, William Aubrey (Sonali) Miller, III., Robert Michael (Nikki) Miller, Jr., Bridgett (Jan) Dunn, and Carrie (Jared) Durban; and 11 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M. Saturday, January 6, 2017 at Barnett-Strother Funeral Home with Bro. Terry Rhye officiating. Burial will follow in Rosedale Cemetery in Dawson Springs. Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. until service time on Saturday at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Mark Troop, Scott Troop, Jared Durban, Brad Mitchell, Robert Miller, Jr., Keith Bartlett, Bill Miller, and Roger Bartlett. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity or church of your choice.
