Verna Ruth Utley Obituary (1913 - 2009)

Mrs. Verna Ruth Utley, 96, of Madisonville, KY passed away Sunday, February 1, 2009 at 9:48 P.M. at NHC Healthcare in Madisonville. \ She was born January 17, 1913 in Richland, KY to the late Mr. & Mrs. Robert Lee. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Hershel M. Utley in December 2005 and one brother, Clyde Lee. \ Mrs. Utley was a member of Richland Missionary Baptist Church. \ She is survived by her brother and sister-in-law, Roelan and Imogene Ledbetter of Madisonville. \ Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Thursday, February 5, 2009, at the Barnett-Strother Funeral Home with Pastor Jim Lantrip officiating. Burial will follow in Odd Fellows Cemetery in Madisonville. \ Visitation will be Thursday 10:00 A.M. until service time at the funeral home. \
