Wayne Tiny' Jones Obituary (1946 - 2014)

\ Wayne 'Tiny' Jones, 67, of Madisonville, KY, passed away Friday, March 21, 2014 at his residence. \ \ He was born May 12, 1946 in Madisonville to the late Herschel Thomas and Gertie Henderson Jones. He was also preceded in death by his first wife, Dianne Jones. \ \ Mr. Jones attended New Salem Missionary Baptist Church, retired from Oxford Coal Company and was passionate about his profession. He also enjoyed four wheelers and was an avid UK Basketball fan. \ \ He is survived by wife, Elizabeth Richards Jones; one son, Jeffery (Faith) Jones of Nortonville, KY; two sisters, Joanna (Billy) Hargis of Madisonville and Linda Jones Kuster of Radcliff, KY; one brother, Ronald 'Bear' Jones of Nortonville; two grandsons, Jonathan Jones and Jaxson Jones; two nieces and family; and three nephews and family. \ \ Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, March 25, 2014 at Barnett-Strother Funeral Home with Rev. Steve Rutherford, Rev. William Sallee, Rev. Brad Kuster, and Rev. Jeremy Hargis officiating. Burial will follow in New Salem Cemetery, Nortonville. \ \ Visitation will be from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Monday and after 9:00 AM until service time on Tuesday at the funeral home. \ \ Pallbearers will be Rev. Jeremy Hargis, Rev. Brad Kuster, Stephen Wilcox, Rev. William Sallee, Bryan Crick, and Barry Crick. Honorary Pallbearers will be Bob Littlepage and Larry Clardy. \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \
