William David "Goat" Morse Obituary (1951 - 2021)

William David "Goat" Morse, 70, of Providence, KY, passed away Friday, September 24, 2021, at Baptist Health Madisonville. He was born April 8, 1951, in Providence to the late Willie J. Morse and Cleo Poe. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Kala Keith; brother, James Dalton Givins; daughter, Angela Marie Morse; and stepson, Sene Niupulusu. He was a coal miner at Pyro. He loved to play with his dog, hunt, and fish. He is survived by his wife, Diann Morse; daughters, Susie (Brent) Smith of Evansville, IN; step-daughter, Luisa (Daniel) Phillips of Providence, KY; sons, Jeffrey (Janet) Morse of Providence, and Timothy Morse of Dawson Springs, KY; step-son, Scotty (Andrea) Stone) of Providence; step-son, Jason Niupulusu of Franklin, TN; sisters, Cindy Kolb of Smithland, KY, Laura Avery of Tallahassee, FL, and Donna Johnston of Knoxville, TN; 18 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Monday, October 4, 2021, at Barnett-Strother Funeral Home - Providence Chapel with Bro. Lefaine Deaver officiating. Visitation will be from 12:00 P.M. until service time at the funeral home. Masks and social distancing will be required.
