Windy E.L. Rice Obituary (1943 - 2016)

Mrs. Windy E.L. Jones Rice, 72, of Madisonville, passed away Monday, February 15, 2015 at her daughter's home. She was born May 19, 1943 in Webster County, WV the daughter of the late Lester "Monk" Jones and Jeorgia Bird Jones. She was a homemaker, she enjoyed spending time with her family, traveling with her husband and crocheting. She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Bobby Rice of Webster Springs, WV; one daughter, Jeorgia (Carl) Rice-Clayton of Madisonville; two sisters, Lucille "Sue" Jones of Akron, OH, Florence "Anne" Trithart of Georgetown, KY; her sister in laws, Glenda Rice-Baker of Charleston, WV; Dixie Rice (David) Stortz of Oak Island, NC; and Millie Rice (Larry) Case of VA. Brother in laws, Billy Rice of Vermillion, OH; and Delmas "Joe" (Shirley) Rice of Webster Springs, WV; two grandsons, Bobby Joe Lester Girvin and Benjamin Allen Girvin both of Madisonville; two great grandchildren, Tyler Ray Girvin and Kaylee Anne Girvin of Madisonville, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Thursday at Barnett-Strother Funeral Home with Bro. Mark Poiles officiating. Burial will follow at a later date in Webster Springs, WV.
